John’s World

“Our week at Canadore taking Landscape Painting with John Molnar
was a rewarding and entertaining experience.

“John’s approach to painting is a unique and workable style
which can be easily used to develop a composition.

“We discovered the importance of and the difference between
positive and negative shapes. Then through observation
we a created a monochromatic colour scheme. And finally we
applied local colour and final details to complete our paintings.

“John’s fun personality was such a bonus, and he always
shared his wealth of information with humour.

“He demonstrated art as a life skill. And now,
we are going home tired and happy with our art experience.”
